Get Involved

Since 2000 Riverlea residents have been working with the Hamilton City Council to restore Hammond Park to its original native ecological authentic beauty. While much has already been achieved there is still much to do. So please join us. Get to know your community and the bush we are lucky to have on out doorstep. Bring your children too for their own supervised activities.

We run different ecological restoration activities including planting and weeding for up to 2 hours on Thursday and Saturday mornings.
